Anaheim Hotel Reviews & CommentsRead the latest hotel reviews and comments about the Quality Inn & Suites Anaheim, and read the buzz about Anaheim's friendliest hotel. Located right across from Disneyland and just steps from the Anaheim Convention Center, this inviting Anaheim hotel is comfortable, convenient and the perfect gateway to everything Anaheim!
My wife and I searched for a couple of days online and found this online. Because of its location to Disneyland and the price, we booked a Thur-Sun stay in early March. The hotel is a very short walk to Disneyland, though we didn't have any youngsters with us, and I wouldn't recommend the walk for ages too big for strollers-13. The rooms were very well kept, and despite being next to the freeway, there was no noise pollution. The free breakfast was not luxurious, but nutritious and fresh. All the staff that we interacted with were also very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this location to my family and friends, as well as remember it and visit again the next time we visit Mickey and the gang.
"Great Price and Value for our budget"
The hotel is close to the park, only 10 minutes from the entrance! It was very small but had everything we needed since we didn't spend too much time in the room. We liked having a mini fridge too. We asked for a room farther away from the freeway since other reviews said it was noisy, so we didn't notice any noise. Having breakfast before going into the park was nice, and our kids loved the waffles. It would've been nice to have a little more variety in the breakfast, but overall was fine. It's a budget hotel that met our needs fine.
"Close to Disneyland"
We stayed here with our three teenage sons ( 2 rooms) while spending 2 days at Disneyland. The rooms were fine - nothing flash but clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful with any queries we had. Its main appeal is it's less than 15 minutes walk to Disneyland and is also close to a whole range of restaurants and fast food outlets and the GardenWalk shopping centre.
"Will stay again"
Breakfast was good. Gave us a great start to our day. We took 3 rooms and had a lot of children. Easy walk to the park and back. Took 3 interconnecting rooms and this worked well for us. Staff went out of their way to pamper the kids. Good job staff.
The location is great for Disneyland, a 5 min walk or so. The hotel is old but kept in good condition. If you want a very close hotel to Disneyland and don't want to pay all the high hotel prices, this is your place!
"Good Value for Money. Very Pleasant Service"
We stayed at the Quality Inn Dec 31, 2011 for a Disneyland trip. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and met expectations for this type of accommodation. Breakfast was self serve cafeteria style and was fine; eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, juice, tea or coffee. We have stayed at a number of hotels near the Disney main gate. This property is on par with the Howard Johnson, Castle Inn and the others. Service here though was above par. We are a fit middle aged couple. The walk from the hotel to the main gate was a very easy 10 minutes for us. If you are not fit, have small children, or pushing a stroller it is going to take you longer.
I read the reviews before booking. We normally stay at 4-5 star properties but not for a two day one night trip to Disney. As to the negative reviews my view is that many customers have unrealistic expectations or in some cases appear to be unreasonable. This is a mid-range property subject to very heavy family traffic. They clearly make an effort at up keep. The property is clean and well suited to a family visit to Disney. If you have 5 star expectations you should book the Grand Californian at $400+ a night.
Bottom line. we'd have no hesitation staying here again.
"Nice room and Location"
We stayed in this hotel because of its location, just a few minutes from Disneyland. The rooms are clean and smell fresh. We stayed in adjoining rooms and very convenient for 2 families. We like the continental breakfast with fresh waffles and cereals. The staff are friendly, helpful. and pleasant. We will stay in this hotel again for future visits. We will recommend to our friends and family. Thanks to the room attendants that keep our rooms clean and fresh.
"Average but Great Value"
A girlfriend who travels to Disney practically annually recommended the Quality Inn & Suites in Anaheim to me for my maiden trip in California. The room was about $20/night cheaper than other area hotels, which over 4 days did add up. Any staff we interacted with were actually exceptional and the beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning our room and the area felt secure. Breakfast had some healthy options and the coffee was good. The detractors of the hotel are its proximity to the freeway, it's right there. If you are a light sleeper like me, ear plugs may be of benefit. For budget conscious adults, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
" Comfortable Accommodations in Garden Setting"
My stay in Nov 1 - Nov 6 2011 was very comfortable, and my room was well accommodated. I was in Anaheim for a conference and believed I received great value for the rate. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. Best of all were the staff - professional and friendly. I would book again if I was in the area.
Not Bad at All!
Not bad at all! Although, the rooms were a bit tiny, it was diable for my family of four. The price is very affordable Close to Disneyland. It took us about 10-15 minutes to walk to Disneyland which is way shorter than parking and taking the tram...so worth it. Plus, there's a Mcdonald's and several other fast food chains along the way. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was a disappointment since their waffle makers didn't work too well but atleast its free. Parking iseasy. Rooms are conveniently equipped with safe, microwave, refrigerator, and hair dryer. Free wifi! Just wish they had Disney Channel and more channels to watch. Parking was about $1.50 per day, much lower than other hotels that usually charge $8.00+. Be sure to request for a room away from the freeway if you don't like that type of noise. We had a room on the top floor at the corner of the hotel so there was really no noise level from other rooms just the people walking by to go downstairs.
+ Very close to Disneyland (walking distance) -- this is a huge plus!
+ Friendly staff
+ gift shop
+ easy access to freeway, and you don't hear it from your room
+ good price
We have stayed here more times than I can remember...the Quality Inn is our go-to hotel when we visit Disneyland (which is several times a year). We feel lucky to have found this hidden little gem. For the price, it's definitely the best deal in town. It's certainly not fancy or luxurious, but we've paid more for less in this town! We have stayed in many of the hotels in the Disneyland area, and for the price and location, it can't be beat.
Alyssa Would recommend to a friend! The room was small, but cozy. Check-in was a very nice experience--great customer service clerks. Nice little continental ... breakfast area. Attractive landscaping. Great location--we just walked right over to Disneyland and had dinner nearby as well. Great stay.
Very satisfied. Grounds well maintained and room furnished nicely. Staff was friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to find we only heard 1 or 2 loud vehicles the whole time we were there even though it is close to the freeway. We'll stay there again.
My boyfriend and I stayed there last weekend for two nights. We chose the hotel mainly for the convenient location right by Disneyland and for the price. I woould definitely stay there again and would recommend the Anaheim Quality Inn hotel to others. I especially liked having a nice sized fridge in our room, where we could store our drinks and snacks. The rooms were clean, Staff friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the location. Great Value!!
